At Theraforge®, your privacy is protected with care and professionalism. All client information is kept confidential in accordance with federal and state laws, as well as HIPAA regulations.
Limits to Confidentiality
By law, there are exceptions to confidentiality:

Suspected child abuse, dependent adult abuse, or elder abuse must be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Serious threats of harm to another person must be reported to law enforcement and the intended victim.

Serious threats of self-harm may require protective actions to ensure client safety.
Theraforge® is committed to handling these situations with compassion and in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Information Collection, Use, and Protection
Theraforge® collects personal information such as your phone number and email address only for the purpose of providing counseling services, scheduling, appointment reminders, and direct communication.
Information is securely stored and never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Reasonable safeguards are maintained to protect your privacy and meet HIPAA standards.
Secure Communication
Theraforge® uses iPlum to provide secure, HIPAA-compliant texting and calling. Communications are encrypted, protected with two-factor authentication, and securely stored on U.S.-based servers.
While iPlum and other tools enhance security, complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed when using any form of electronic communication.
For your safety, please do not send sensitive clinical information by email or through contact forms.
Mobile SMS Privacy Policy
Clients and prospective clients may opt-in to receive SMS text communications. Messaging frequency may vary. To opt out at any time, reply STOP. For assistance, reply HELP.
Mobile numbers are collected only for practice-related communication and are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Theraforge® complies with CTIA guidelines.
Please note that SMS text messaging is not a secure method for communicating protected health information (PHI).

Theraforge® does not solicit personal, financial, or confidential information through unsolicited text messages or phone calls.
